Obsession is an eternal hazard in the work with Pomba Gira – after all, the passions of the soul are her domain. The sooner we confront this, the better. It may be that these symptoms indicate that you should give Pomba Gira the same offering as you gave her for having the work done, but this time with the request to cancel it. Be humble and for seven weeks do nothing but light a weekly candle in her honour. No sessions, just a weekly token of respect followed by a purifying bath. If we observe these matters we shall walk well in this path and harvest immense benefits.
